Our Story

1977
In 1977, the Heidelberg Mennonite Fellowship congregation committed themselves to beginning another Christian Day School. Using the name Hawkesville Christian School, the former Hawkesville Public School was used from 1977-1979 when a move was made to a new building at our present location. In 1982, when the new church building was completed on the school property, the name Hawkesville Christian School was changed to Countryside Christian School.
In 1995 a gym, kitchen, library, office, and an additional classroom were added to the original school building.

2007
Grade 11 was offered at Countryside Christian School for the first time in the fall of 2007 with Grade 12 added in the fall of 2008. This extension of high school was the result of the desire and effort of interested families supporting CCS.
2010
In 2010 CCS added a Kindergarten program. Kindergarten now operates as a three-days-a-week program.

2014
In the fall of 2014, an additional wing was added with four additional classrooms.
Today
